Preference for a Member of NETWORK for three years, and a BOD member for two years, but will consider other Board experience.
The qualities deemed necessary for the leadership of the
Southeastern Connecticut Women’s NETWORK: membership will look to the
President for guidance, understanding, sensitivity, and progressive
leadership.
Responsibilities:
Be responsible for promoting greater interest and participation in
the activities and objectives of NETWORK – and to help make this
organization’s opportunities known to all women and men in Southeastern
Connecticut
Organize and chair the monthly BOD Meetings*
Preside over the monthly luncheon meetings*
Schedule the Board Retreat(s)
Appoint all Committee Chairs necessary for the proper functioning of the NETWORK
Appoint ad hoc committees as needed
Schedule the annual Board Dinner
Write the President’s message for the newsletter on a monthly basis
Present an annual report of the work of the organization at the annual meeting in May*
See that all books, reports and certificates as required by law are properly kept or filed*
Sign checks or drafts of the organization as needed*
Serve as an ambassador of the NETWORK and liaison with other professional and business relationships
